Agent extinction is not inevitable — if you're on top of your game
A true local, Tamara Sutton is a native of the beaches of Oxnard, CA. She attended CSU Channel Islands and earned a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Marketing – all while pursuing a career as a cosmetologist. Following her graduation, Tamara then had the opportunity to co-own and operate Sea Fresh seafood restaurant in the Channel Islands Harbor for over a decade. She and her husband also own a hot sauce and food production facility, Char Man Brand that is part of the Ojai Land Conservancy. The company donates a portion of its sales to buying land to conserve and make accessible for public use.
With her mother in real estate for 20+ years and her brother an agent at The Address, Tamara was inspired to redirect her flair for hospitality - having been in the business of serving people her whole life - to real estate. She believes that real estate is as much about relationship building as it is about sales, and her goal is to help clients find their dream homes without trying to sell them something they are not sure of.
Having managed a staff of over 50, Tamara can work well with all personalities. She has a huge passion for getting to know people, hearing their stories, and providing solutions to their needs. Her background has also made her expert at multitasking and problem solving, essential skills when handling the intricacies of transactions.
Tamara is highly knowledgeable about the Ventura County beach communities as well as family neighborhoods. She previously lived in Ojai, and is a current resident of Ventura with her husband, two daughters and five pets.
Enamored with travel and cuisine, Tamara has been to numerous countries so far and traveled outside the U.S. with her children since they were young. She is an active volunteer for her kids’ school as a member of the PTO, school safety committee, and a crossing guard. Her other love has been hosting charity events to raise money for different local community members in need.
