Coupled with that is world-class marketing, offer review and due diligence, offer/contract negotiations, protecting clients from liability through the seller disclosure process, and providing clear, concise, timely communication through to the close of escrow.
For his buyer clients and purchases, Mike asks the right questions and listens well to hone in on the right homes to show. He educates first-time buyers so they understand the process and assures repeat buyers a streamlined deal. Mike works hard to put together the best offers for his buyers and leverages his connections with other agents and sellers to get his buyers’ offers accepted. Once in escrow, he navigates inspections, seller disclosures, repair negotiations, etc. to bring about a smooth closing.
After working in the restaurant industry and corporate management, Mike started in real estate in 2000 as an escrow assistant. He fast-tracked to escrow officer for a mortgage brokerage, then started his own mobile notary company in 2002, ultimately providing services in over 10 states. Mike got his real estate license in 2007 and began selling in 2008 when he partnered with a top local agent and became the REO sales and operations manager. Besides his real estate license, he is a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), holds a Preforeclosure Specialist Certification, and won Pinnacle Awards for being a top agent.
Mike specializes in residential sales for buyers and sellers, luxury markets, land, working with investors, distressed properties, helping homeowners in foreclosure and working with institutional clients in both the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets. He is an LA native who has lived in Conejo Valley since 2003, and sells throughout Ventura County, Malibu, the San Fernando Valley, and the West Side.
While his career is quite accomplished, his greatest personal achievement was supporting his wife in her victory over breast cancer, which changed him to the core and made him the person he is today. “Having a support system to guide you through something major can make all the difference; and that’s exactly what I do for my clients.
