Agent extinction is not inevitable — if you're on top of your game
Jonathan Pelanne is a lifelong California resident, born in Oakland, raised in El Sobrante, college educated in Costa Mesa, and living in midtown Ventura since 2012. He got his California real estate license in 2011 after working as an assistant in a mortgage office, and relocated from Orange County to Ventura County where he joined a residential brokerage.
Now a proud member of The Address Real Estate team, Jonathan represents buyers, sellers and investors. He came to the firm with an excellent track record of sales, which includes selling 55 houses in a single year, and received an award for the most listings sold in Ventura County with a partner in 2016.
As for his neighborhood knowledge, it’s unmatched. Jonathan has sold a house in practically every city in Ventura, and specializes primarily as a listing agent helping sellers get maximum value. He is organized, timely, well-prepared and reliable, which makes the real estate process more manageable for his clients. Jonathan believes in providing attentive guidance as well as clear, honest, direct communication, keeping his sellers and buyers informed and in the loop so they can make the best decisions. Most important is gaining the trust of his clients, an invaluable skill he believes, and a must when selling a home.
Jonathan received B.A. in International Business with a minor in Cultural Anthropology from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa. He previously did consulting work for a private insurance company and worked in higher education.
Fluent in English and Finnish (thanks to his dad originally from Helsinki), Jonathan resides in the Lemon Grove neighborhood of Ventura County with his wife, daughter, and tabby cat, Kulta. The couple own a rental property in the greater Bakersfield area, and is happily expecting their second child around Valentine’s Day 2019. Outside of work and family, Jonathan loves the Bay Area sports teams. Go Warriors!
